Hail (“jayati”) my mother (“amba”), Shri Kamalamba. Hail (“jayati”) to the mother of the world, Shri Kamalamba.

You are the personification of Shringara Rasa, the essence of the sentiment (“rasa”) of love (“sringaara”).

Oh my mother, You are the reflection (“pratibimbe”) of the entity (“bimba”) of consciousness (“chid”), Cidbimba, residing at the orb of the moon that shows the reflection of the original orb, void of consciousness.

She who resides (“asta”) in Bindu Chakra, which is the center (“madhya”) of Shripura, inside the temple (“mandira”), which is made of the wish-fulfilling (“chintaa”) gem (“mani”) Chintamani,

She is in the embrace (“Ankastha”) of Shiva on (“sthita”) the couch (“macha”) of the form (“aakaara”) of Shiva.

I meditate on Mahatripurasundari, who is propitiated (“archita”) by the goddess with the boar’s face (“sukara”), Varahi, and others (“ananaadya”).

She is the suzerain (“raaja”) empress (“rajeshwareem”).

She is the auspicious one (“shree-kara”) who dwells (“vaasineem”) in the circle replete (“maya”) with all (“sarva”) bliss (“ananda”).

She is Suvasini.

I am protected (“chintayeham”) by Her.

She makes (“karayaa”) the sun (“divaakara”), the moon (“sheetakirana”) and the fire (“paava”) manifest (“vikaasa”) themselves.

She is skillful (“tarayaa”) in removing (“durithana”) the three (“traya”) terrible sufferings (“thaapa”) such as Adhyatmika, etc (“aadi”).

 She possesses the beautiful (“sukale”) form (“bharayaa”) assumed to grant the prayers (“praarthitha”) of Indra (“paakaari”) and the other (“aadi”) gods (“pramukha”).

She manifests (“paakatya”) both as the supreme (“apara”) and as empirical (“para”) objects.

She is compassionate (“palito-dayaa-karayaa”).

I salute Her (“namaste”), auspicious (“shree”) mother (“matre”), pure (“maatre”) consciousness (“chin”).

She is worshiped by Lakshmi (“ramaa”), Vishnu (“hari”), Rudra (“eesha”), and Brahma (“vidhaatha”).

Everything (“sakalam”) is born (“jaatam”) of the supreme (“para”) deity (“devataayaah”) who is worshiped (“pujitha”) by the Shaktis such as Vama, etc (“aadi”).

She has the form (“rupinyah”) of the Mantra which begins (“aadi”) with the letters Ka, Ha, Sa, (“kaadi, haadi, saadi) etc., the mantra which is worshiped and meditated upon (“upaasita”) by the twelve (“dvadasha”) savants (“bhir”), Kama and others.

Let my (“maa”) loving mind (“chittam”) be dissolved (“vilayatu”) in Her, whose beloved (“prema”) is Shiva, and who is the mother (“jananyaam”) of Guruguha.

You embody the light (“prakaashini”) that is Brahman, are the divine omniscience (“vimarshini”) that contains all phenomena and their names (“naama”).

You reveal (“pra-darshini”) Kaamakala and the insights (“rasya”) revealing (“nidarshini”) one’s perfect identity (“saama”).

May goddess Kamalambika, spouse (“shive”) of Shiva, She who (“shaarike”) holds (“druta”) a parrot (“shuka”) in Her hand (“kara”), protect me (“avaava”).

She is the protector (“paalini”) of the world (“loka”).

She is adorned with the Kapala skull  (“kapaalini”) and the Shula trident (“shoolini”).

Mother of the universe (“shakrudaa”) and also known as Bhagamalini.

May She bestow Her glance (“alokaya”) on me (“maam”), and confer all (“sarva”) accomplishments (“siddhi”) on me.

She is Tripurambika and Balambika.

Her body (“dehe”) is like (“sannibha”) burnished (“santapta”) gold (“hema”).

She is the eternal (“sadaa”) stream (“pravaahe”) of undifferentiated (“akhanda”) unique (“eka”) bliss (“rasa”).

She is the remover (“apahara”) of sufferings (“santa”).

She resides (“gehe”) in the Trikona triangle, which obliterates the three kinds of miseries.

She is in the company (“sa”) of Kameshvari and a host (“samuhe”) of Shaktis.

In the wide (“kavaata”) doorway (“dvaare”) of Her abode, wherein the jewelled bell (“ghantaa-mani”) constantly (“santatam”) announces (“ghosaayamaana”) salvation (“mukthi”).

She is understood (“vidite”) by Guruguha, who is eternal (“ananta”).

From Her ten fingernails (“kara-anguli-nakho”), She created (“udaya”) the ten (“dasha”) incarnations (“avataare”) of Vishnu.

She is the supremely (“ati”) secret (“rahasya”) Yogini, who holds (“dhara”) in Her four hands (“kare”) the sugar cane (“ikshu”) bow (“kaarmuka”) symbolising the mind (“antahkarana”), five arrows symbolising the five (“pancha”) Tanmatras – essences, sounds (“shabda”) etc (“aadi”) of the five elements, the noose (“paasha”) symbolising attachment (“raaga”), and the goad (“ankusha”) symbolising hatred (“dvesha”).

She who resides in the garden (“vaatikayaam”) palace of the wish-fulfilling (“srita-kalpa”) gem Kalpavatika, and to Chandika, the mother (“ambika”) of the universe (“jagad”).

She who has a lovely moon-like (“raaka-chandra”) face (“vadanaayaam”).

Her eyes (“nayanaayaam”) are like the lotus bud (“rajeeva”).

Her feet (“charanaayaam”) are praised (“nuta”) by Indra (“paakaa-aari”).

Her rays (“kiranaayaam”) are the five elements such as sky (“akaasha”) etc (“aadi”).

She is the gazelle-eyed (“harinyaam”) in the forest (“vipina”) of Hrim (“hreem-kaara”).

She who is the embodiment (“su-shareerinyaam” or “Taru manjaryaam”) of Hrim.

She is the presiding deity (“eeshvaryaam”)  for the Mantra (“kaara”) Hrim.

She is Gauri.

She rejoices (“bhoginyaam”) in Her own (“swa”) self (“aatmaanu”) of supreme bliss (“sukhatara”), the self which transcends (“vi-lakshana”) the three (“traya”) states of existence (“shareera”): the casual, the subtle, and the gross.

She who is the mystic (“rahasya”) Yogini (“yoginyaam”), known only (“vedita”) to Brahma (“virinchi”), Vishnu (“hari”), Rudra (“haya”), and Hayagriva (“harishaana”).

She is differentiated (“vibhaaginyaam”) as the Shakti Vasini, etc (“para-aadi”). and as the four states of development, the deity (“devata-rupa”) of speech (“vaag”).

She is the healing Raja Yogini, who removes (“hara”) all (“sarva”) illness (“roga”), which is essentially transient (“niraamaya”).

She who plays (“vaadhinyaam”) the Vina, which She holds (“druta”) in Her hands (“kara”).

She who delights (“vinodinyaam”) in Kamalanagara.

She charms (“modhinyaam”) the Gods (“sura”), men (“nara”) and sages (“munijana”).

She grants Guruguha the boon (“prasaadhinyaam”) of Her grace (“vara”).

Her essential nature (“swaroopa”) is the fire (“Vahni”).

She manifests (“parakaasha”) in the inner (“antar”) circle having ten triangles (“dasha-aara”).

She is the goddess (“eshvarya”) of the Chakra Sarvarakshakara, protecting all.

She is worshiped (“nuta”) by gods (“tridasha”) and others (“aadi”).

She is of the form of the ten letters (“dvaya maya”) of the Ka and Ca groups (“varga”).

She is the goddess of the circle of Malini, which has (“sameta”) ten (“dasha”) Shaktis such as Sarvajna etc.

She is (“garbhini”)  Kundalini, encompassing the fifty letters (“tri-dasha-shad-varna”).

She is the goddess Kaulini, propitiated (“sama-aaraadhita”) by ten (“dasha”) Mudras.

She is worshiped (“nuta”) by Dasharatha and others (“aadi”).

She bestows knowledge (“bodhinyaah”) on Shiva, the father (“janaka”) of Guruguha.

The rays of Her inner (“nigarbha”) radiance (“yoginyaah”) constitute the functioning (“vrutti”) of the ten (“dasha”) Indriyas (“karana”), the ten sense and motor organs.

Oh (“re”) mind (“chitta”), there is nothing (“nahire”) other than the glorious (“param”) Kamalamba, the one who is the essence (“svaropinyaah”) of all categories from (“aadi”) the earth (“kshiti”) up to (“anta”) Shiva.

She who is creator (“janayitrayaah”) of Shrikanta, Brahma (“virinchi”) and others (“aadi”).

She who created (“kartryaah”) the universe (“visva”), which is in essence (“aatmaka”) nothing but Shiva, She is the agent (“itryaah”) of all actions (“karya”).

She resides in the sacred outer Chakra possessing ten (“dashaara”) triangles, and is served (“sevitha”) by Bhairavi-Kali, Bhargavi-Lakshmi and Bharati-Sarasvati.

She who is of the subtle (“sukshma”) form (“roopa”) full of (“maya”) of Nada.

She (“moorthe”) is propitiated (“aaraadhita”) by the ten (“dasha”) Shaktis, Sarvasiddhiprada, etc (“aadi”).

She who is famous (“keerthe”) for being worshiped (“upaasita”)  in various (“bahu”) religious modes (“stotra” or “vidho”), such as Kula and Kaula, as the power identical (“atmaka”) with the ten (“dasha”) sense and motor organs (“karana”).

She who is the manifestation (“spurthe”) of the supreme non-dual (“a-dvaita”) non-differentiated (“a-bheda”) ever (“nitya”) pure  (“shuddha”) enlightened (“buddha”) and free self (“muktha”), the reality of which is consciousness (“satchid”) and bliss (“ananda-maya”).

She who is an integral whole (“a-prameya”) without (“rahita”) any parts such as the first (“aadi”), middle (“madhya”) and the last (“anta”).

She who is knowledgeable and is entertained (“moditha”) by Guruguha,

She manifests (“spurthe”) as Sarvartthasadhaka Chakra, achieving (“saadhaka”) all (“sarva”) purposes (“artha”).

She who is inherent in the nine (“nava”) centers (“aadhaara”) such as Muladhara, etc (“aadi”). and who, surpassing these (“vyavrutta”), knows how to pierce through the sounds (“dashadhwani”).

She who protects (“sam-rakshanyaa”) the Yogis (“yogi-brunda”).

Her mere glance (“aksha”) is capable (“patutara”) of dispelling (“vikaasinyaah”) beginningless (“an-aadi”) delusion (“maaya”) and ignorance (“avidya”) and the laws of cause (“kaarana”) and effect (“kaarya”).

a.       When Ishwara is in the company of Maya, he has the power to control others. Avidya stands related to the Jivan. It is primordial. It conceals the real nature of the Jivan. Maya and Avidya create the world by cause and effect.

b.        But the Paradevata is the essence that forms and informs all tatvas from Bhumi to Shiva. There is nothing other than Kamalambika who is all the above and does all the above.

c.        This 5^th avarana is known as the Sarvartha Sadhaka chakram (the accomplisher of all ideals).

He who recites the mantram of this avaranam 15 lakhs of times is certain to obtain the grace of Sri Lalita Mahatripurasundari and to get at the means of satisfying all his desires.

[1] In Her deep penance and meditation to please Shiva, she refused all food, even the fallen leaf (“parna”), and hence she is called “A-parna”.

Shri Kamalambika has cast Her gracious glance (“kata-akshi”) on me (“to-aham”), and now I am identified (“asmi”) with the nature of Absolute (“paripurna”) Brahman (“brahma”), the fullness of existence (“sat”), consciousness (“chit”) and bliss (“ananda”).

Indra (“paaka-shaasana”) and other (“aadi”) celestials (“sakala devataa”) attend (“sevitayaa”) on Her.

She is adored (“bhaavitayaa”) by Brahma  (“pankaja-asana”) and others (“aadi”) who perform the Pancakritya, the five (“pancha”) cosmic acts (“krut”).

Her feet are adroit (“chatura”) at removing (“hara”) grief (“shoka”).

She endowed  (“pradayaa”) the gift of speech (“vaak”)  in Mooka and made him a Kavi.

Her victorious (“vijaya”)  feet (“padayaa”) are like red lotus (“kokanada”).

She is the embodiment of the three-word (“trai-padayaa”) mantra Tat-Tvam-Asi imparted by Guruguha.

Her form (“aakaaryaa”) is of eight (“ashta”) Shaktis (“shktyaa”), Anangakusuma and the rest.

She is the color (“varna”) of dawn, Aruna (i.e. red color).

She is enshrined (“arayaa”) in the Samkshobhana Chakra.

She is the consort (“nayikayaa”) of Shankara, who is the Lord (“naayaka”) of innumerable universes (“ananta-kotyananda”).

She is of the nature (“aatmaka”) of eternal and hidden (“gupta”) Ashtavarga, the eight (“ashta”) groups (“varga”) of alphabets.

She is worshipful (“tarayaa varayaa”), seated (“sthitayaa”) on an eight-petalled (“ashta-dala”) lotus (“abja”).

She is worshiped (“dyupaasitayaa”) by Ananga the Cupid.

She holds (“dhara”) in her hand (“karayaa”) a bow (“dhanur”) and arrows (“baana”).

She is an embodiment (“saagarayaa”) of the nectar (“sudha”) of compassion (“dayaa”).

1)     The following are the essence of the “Brahman”:

a.      “Sath” is the everlasting imperishable quality

b.      “Chith” is the revealer

c.      “Anandam” manifests the enjoyment.

2)     All things in the universe manifest the above essential qualities.

3)     Immovable things reveal the subsistence (“sath”) quality in greater measure than other qualities. Movable things reveal the knowledge (“chith”) quality in greater measure than other qualities. The Gods reveal the bliss (“anandam”) quality in greater measure than other qualities.

4)     This 3^rd avarana is called Sarva Samkshobana chakra (the agitator of everything).

5)     By reciting this mantra 15 lakh times, one shall achieve

a.      True wisdom

b.      All auspicious things with the aid of Sri Lalita Mahatripurasundari

She is (“paarshvaam”) attended (“sevitha”) on by Lakshmi (“kamala”) and Sarasvati (“vaani”).

The beauty of Her neck (“greevam”) surpasses (“jaya”) that of the conch (“kambu”).

She is worshiped (“nata”) by the celestials (“devaam”) and resides (“sadanaam”) at Kamalapura.

She speaks (“gadanaam”) softly (“mrudu”) and has beautiful (“kamaneeya”) teeth (“radanaam”).

She annihilates (“dhvamsineem”) miseries (“dukha”). She is Hamsini, the supreme one in the company of great sages.

She is the bestower (“pra-daayineem”) of true (“nija”) bliss (“sukha”)through salvation (“nirvaana”). She is the ever (“nitya”) auspicious (“kalyaanim”) one.

She is also known as Katyayani and Sharvani.

Her dark tresses (“veni”) exceed (“vijaya”) the dark hue of a swarm of bees (“madhupa”).

She is the mother (“jananeem”) of noble Guruguha and is blemishless (“niranjaneem”).

She destroyed (“bhanjaneem”) the arrogant (“garvita”) Bhandasura.

She delights (“ranjaneem”) Shaktis such as (“aadi”) Kamakarshani.

She is the attributeless (“nir-vishesha”) supreme (“chaitanya”) spirit (“roopineem”) and is the form (“swaroopineem”) of the world (“urvee tatvaadi”).
